Please download the Scarborough Community Festival 2018 Volunteer Application or corresponding event volunteer application, and fill out and return it as soon as possible. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like more information.

Volunteer Customer Service Training will be scheduled in 2018. Check back for more information.

Rules of Conduct for Volunteers

Volunteers must:

Adhere to the duties and responsibilities of the volunteer position
Sign and abide by the organization’s code of conduct
Refrain from smoking or consuming alcohol while on duty
Adhere to the organization’s badge identification system as designated by position
Volunteer with competence
Serve the public interest with integrity
Communicate timely, truthfully and fully
Conduct activities in a cooperative way
Observe all health and safety regulations
Comply with all organization policies and procedures
Listen with understanding and with a helpful attitude
Must be physically able to be on your feet for long periods
Must be able to help patrons find their way around the premises
Able to walk up and down stairs
Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with others
Volunteers must respect each other and all staff
Volunteers must attend at least 3 meetings and trainings
